The Cricut Couple's Anniversary Blog Candy Challenge

Hi again!!!!

Bobby and Jill are The Cricut Couple, the make the nicest cards, I have been a fan of theres for awhile now, and they are celebrating there Anniversay, and to help them celebrate they are having an Anniversary Blog Candy Challenge, they ask that you make a card for someone you love, simple right?  So why not head over and play along.....

Here is the card I made

It is a Halloween card for my son, 

I had cut out the mummy the other day for a project and it was to big, so I started with that cut, and the card came together from there, I used my mini gel pen holder to write the words " from your mummy" on the front, using my Gypsy, I was able to write first then cut the word window without unloading my mat. On the inside also using my Gypsy I created the words Happy Halloween, replacing the "o" with a jack-o-lantern, I just love how it turned out.....

My Creative Time Challenge

Hi !!
this is a card I made for Emma's My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge, this is my first time entering here challenge, I had fun creating my card, you still have time to enter, but if you don't you can still stop over and see everyones great creations.....

I used Create A Critter for the monkey and the bananas,

I decide to make her a girl monkey and

 gave her a pretty pink bow, 

she also needed a little bling,

so I gave her some  diamond earings

with my new I-Rock 

in her hair

Make Something Cute MPS Challenge

Hi All
My dad asked me to make him a card, a friend of his was in a car accident, (she is ok) and my pink stamper has a challenge going on to make something cute, so this is what I came up with , I really think it is sooooo cute....please let me know what you think, I love to read yoour comments.

So maybe a little story on my design, my dad goes to this corner store every morning to get his coffee and chat with the girls, well during the summer he grew some tomatoes and would take them to the store to be sold, the friend he wanted the card for was in a car accident, and she also worked at the store in the mornings, he also is on facebook farming his farm on farmville. he asked me to incorperate tomatoes into the card somehow and make it from the tomato guy. I hope that explains why I did it the way I did it, the girls at the store freaked out when they saw it, they just loved it....that makes me very happy....



The carts I used where Paper Doll Dress Up, Everyday Paper Doll , Doodlecharms, From My Kitchen, and Jubilee.

I also used PeachyKeen stamps, Simple Simons

Inking It Up Design Team Post

Hi All,
here is my second project  for Inking It Up Crazy.....

this week we were asked to make a treat bag,  I knew right away I wanted to create my Treat Bag and thought a coffin would be fun to do. The coffin I used is from PDDU, I also used Fabulous Finds for a few shapes to weld to coffin, to make treatbag.....

I used the red sticky tape to put bag together, I used Peachy Keen face stamps, Simple Simon for the face on the bats and the ghost., I inked up the edges, did some doodling, and there it is my Treat bag, I aslo used some scrap paper cut into strips, ran them through my paper crimper and used that paper to put in my treat bag. I have added the gypsy file to my downloads at the top left side bar for you to make your own treat bag, please leave me a link if you make one, I would love to see it....

Inking It Up Crazy Project

Hello my crafty friends...... I am so excited to post my first Inking It Up Crazy Design Team Project...Kassidy asked us to make something with pumpkins, and this is what I made
I made the card using the following Cricut Cartridges,
PDDU - for the tree, fence, owl, moon, stars and grass.
EDPD - leaves
Disney Pooh & Friends - pumpkins
WC - Happy Halloween
These are my favourite pumpkins, after cutting out all my pieces, I ran the pumpkins through the Zyron upside down, so the sticky was on top...then I glittered the top of each pumpkin. I inked up alot of the edges, I also used the Distressed Cuttlebug folder. I had a few leaves left over, so I placed them on the inside of the card.
