Secret Santa Revealed

Hello Crafty Friends,
just a little post on a little fun we had over at She's a Sassy Lady, we did a Secret Santa Gift Exchange, we did this exchange between She's a Sassy Lady and The BugBytes ....it was so fun.....

I was Santa for Melody, from A Splash Here and There, here is the gift I sent to her.....

she had a little hint on her blog as to what she would like Santa to bring her(thank you for the help Melody...lol) and 2 of the things on her list were the Martha Stewart Mini Score board....now I had not heard of this, I do have the big one, but not the mini.....LOVE it so yes Santa had to bring me one too...hehehe and she needed new Tweezer Bees....I have heard from her and she Loved her gifts....you are so welcome Melody....

Now onto who my Secret Santa was..... Denine, from Pumpkin Spice 

 She wrapped it soo pretty......and that card......LOVE IT!!!!!

now we were asked to leave some hints on our blog to what we may want, now I did not do that, I really wanted to be surprised, and I just knew I would LOVE anything crafty she gave me........and was I right!!!!!!!!

looky looky what I received.......PAPER!!!! love love love paper, and one can never have to much paper...am I right..... and a package of border trims and bling lets not forget the bling....I love me some I-Rock gems, Thank you SO SO SO much Denine

I can't wait to do this again next year, so so so fun to wait for that mailman to deliver that package.......

Zebra Ornament

Hello Crafty Friends,

How are you all doing....I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas, I did....
Today is my day over at She's A Sassy Lady, thank you so much Sheila for letting me share my craft with you today....

I have one more quick and easy Christmas crafty for you.
I just received my Christmas gifts from my SIL, did I mention she is a Stampin' Up Demonstrator...Yea for me...all my gifts were from Stampin' Up!!!!

here a quick pic of my gift... look at all those goodies!!!!!

I have been wanting that punch and stamp set for a while now....
so I just had to play with it and make one last ornament.......
ok maybe its not one of your tradition ornament, but I think it is pretty cute....

So using my Ornament punch, my mini Martha Stewart Score Board and some of my favourite paper....Zebra, I started punching

After punching out 7 ornaments I scored them all down the middle

using my ATG and zip dry I attached all the pieces, but just about half way I attach some twine down the middle...

I left a little hanging out the top and bottom so I could add a bow and a little bling bling 

and there you have it, I love how it turned out,......I will be making alot of these next year......

Snowflake Shape Card

Hello Crafty Friends, 

I hope you all are well, 

I was having some issues blogging but I think I have fixed them, so I can get back to posting, this is a card I made for my monthly post at She's A Sassy Lady, but I was unable to post, but I still wanted to share it with you all...

I love to make shape cards, so I decided to make this snowflake shape card, I love snowflakes, each one so different and so beautiful....

this snowflake is from the Cake Basics cartridge, with the inside hidden, 

cut at 5.24 H 6.21 W

I welded 2 of the shadow feature together cut at the same H  and W 

using my new mini martha stewart score board...lovin it!! 

 using zip dry to adhere the layers, 

stamp on the inside and outside of card is from 

Joy's Life Stamps, Oh Christmas Puns Set, love her stamps..... 

 ink from stampin'up  

  I thought it was a little plain looking so I added some mini jingle bells and twine, 

I hope you enjoyed my card, 

I think when I make this card again, I will shrink the size a bit, to fit 2 on a mat, and be able to fit into a regular A2 envie....or a 6x6 envie....

MAKEOVER!!!!!

Hello my crafty friends....
just a quick post on my new look!!!!!!
I just received a Blog Makeover!!!!

Onsie Shape Card

Hello Crafty Friends.....

today is my day to post at She's a Sassy Lady.....I know it is a bit late...but  I am not feeling well.....pretty sure it is the flu...uugghh and I was convinced all day that it was Monday...it is now 9 pm and I am discovering that it is indeed Tuesday.....so I would like to say how sorry I am for being late....

now lets get to my project.....it is a Onsie Shape card......

cute right......lol

so after designing my shape card on my Gypsy...

using the onsie shadow feature from the New Arrival Cartridge, 

I welded 2 together the onsie is 5.70 height 5.73 width

 the paper is DCWV

 the sentiment is also from New Arrival, cut at 7.40 height

 also using my Gypsy, I made a stencil for my I-Rock (love this tool) 

each little circle is .18 in height and .19 in width....

you definitely need to work with the zoom on making these stencils...

the font is from the Pooh Fonts Cartridge....

I use 2 layers on my Gypsy to design the stencils

on the first layer is the word I choose....

the next is where I place all those little circles over the letters....

it takes a little time, but so worth it....

 than placing the stencil on the card, I place all the bling, 

then using the I-Rock, I adhere all those little gems 

 and here is the card finished....

It fits into a 6x6 envelope

this was for a baby shower gift, so size was not an issue...

it was just a little to big to fit the standard A2 envie, but this would be easy to shrink down to fit if you needed to mail it....

Personalized Dog Leash

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today I have a project to share with you and my friends at She's A Sassy Lady,
Thank you Sheila, for letting me share my project with you today, I needed to pick up a new leash for my puppy, Lola....I couldn't really find anything I liked.....so I went with a black one knowing I could pretty it up with some vinyl,
so with my Gypsy and my Expression this is what I came up with,

using some Cricut Pink Vinyl, and some Zebra Vinyl from Vinyl Couture, 

LOVE IT Zebra Vinyl!!!!

 so using a plain retractable leash

and my pink and zebra vinyl, cut at 3,3,3....blade speed, pressure and depth  

and my tweezer bees....a must have for working with vinyl... 

the Letters are from Birthday Bash and the polka dots are from Plantin Schoolbook

 here is the new leash for my puppy Lola....it was a bit plain so I added some polka dots...

and here is my 9 month old puppy Lola sporting her new leash...

Hello Crafty friends.....I can't believe summer is almost over, the leaves have  already started to fall :( I LOVE summer....and this has been a great one....well let's get to it....today is my day to post over at She's a Sassy Lady, thank you Sheila, for this opportunity to share my project with you and your followers...

Today I have made a 3D Robot, made from the Robotz Cartridge, I just recieved this in the mail...a free cartridge from Cricut, they had a little promo going on a  bit ago, where if you buy 2 carts at Michaels you could one free, I had a few choices, now this was not my first choice but I think I will have fun with it just the same....

I cut it out using my Gypsy, he is cut at 8. you will need to angle the image on your Gypsy to get it that big or use a 12x24 mat, I made it for a friends son, it was so much fun to make, and not hard at all, I was a little worried at first, but it was really pretty easy.....let me show you....

here he is all done, I used a craft knife to cut his mouth open and stuff some birthday money in it, 

Isn't he cute..... here are all his parts....

 and here is the robot pieces, you definitely want to use a bone folder to get nice tight creases...

 I used this red sticky tape to keep him together, it is for an 8 year old boy....

I inked all of my edges....

                     

here is the robot body and the green piece is the middle of the robot, what you use to stand the robot up, 

 here he is, all done...

I thought he needed a little more, something....so my buddy is turning 8 and I thought I would add his name.....this cartridge also has a GREAT font...I love fonts.....I also decide to give my Robot some goggley eyes...in 2 different sizes....

here is my little buddy with his Robot...he loved it!!!!

and here is the beautiful Niagara Falls, Houseshoe Falls(Canada side) we had his birthday party on top of the Fallsview Casino, at the Indoor Waterpark, yes a waterpark ON TOP of the Casino, I think it is on the 8th floor which is the top floor, I took this photo from up there...what a view, I am so lucky to live so close to this amazing place....I don't live in Niagara Falls, but I am pretty close at only 20 mins away...

Sandal Mini Album

Hello everyone.....
how have you all been....
I know, I know....I have been MIA for quite a while now, here is a little bit of what has been going on in my world....since my last post  I have lost my Dad, he was only 60...Cancer......I miss him so much, before my dad passed he knew how upset I was at loosing my furbabie earlier this year and told me to find a puppy and he would get me an early b-day gift (I think he knew he would not be here for my B-day)......sooooo I found this little cutie..... this is Lola...at 8 1/2 n weeks old, she is a pug......( she is almost 6 months old now, and oh my..how much work is a puppy!!!! it has been 19 years since I have had a puppy!!!!!)

 I have really not been feelin to crafty, but it is time for me to get back in the craft room, and get creative!!!!
I would like to Thank Sheila (from She's A Sassy Lady) for being so patient with me and giving me this time to heal.....
 so for my project today at She's a Sassy Lady I have made a mini album.....a Sandal....so cute right....well here it is you be the judge...and please let me know what you think....
using cereal boxes I cut out a sandal for the first and last page(don't forget to flip 1 of your images for the last page)

Then I cut 2 in black card stock

 now glue it together, I used Scotch's Quick Dry

 next, I chose some patterned paper( from my stash) and inked all my edges...

 using my crop-a-dile big bite I punched holes in every layer

                     

I used binder rings to join it together

 so so so cute.....now to embellish....

I will be posting the Gypsy File for this project, but boy have I been having some Gypsy Issues......I did the update a while ago, and tried to use it the other day....an hour and a half later, with the help of the SWEETEST csa from Cricut we got it working....but today trying to cut this file....trouble, it keeps cutting the top of my sandal!!!!! so I want to re-do the file so no one has to waste as much paper as I did today...... so check back near the end of the week for the file to make your own!!!!
