I have updated my Dispensing File..

Hello my Crafty Friends....

just a little update, I have received the sweetest comments on my Dispensing Box, thank you soo much, I just wanted to let some of you know that I have updated my file, my new file only uses Gypsy Wanderings and Plantin SchoolBook. I hope this helps some of you...
I really can't wait to see what some of you make....don't forget to leave me a link back to your blogs... :)
oh and I have had a lot of questions on how to get the files from your computers to your Gypsy's , here are some directions...

-first I would suggest saving the File to a File, I have a File on my desktop for -my Gypsy Files, and inside that File I have a File for ones I create and a File for Files others create....



-then you need to plug your Gypsy into your computer, turn it on,


click the Gypsy Sync button,


-it will let you know if there is an update, you can choose to do the update or say no and do it later


-you should have the Cricut sync screen up


-on the bottom there should be two green buttons, one says remove projects, the other add projects, click add projects,


-then you will go to where you have saved the downloaded
project(s) highlight the projects and click add.


-now unplug and open my project,


-now I used Gypsy Wanderings, and Plantin SchoolBook, ...If you don't have one of these carts, you can change the shape I used with a shape from a cart you have...

She's A Sassy Lady Guest Disgner Project-Candy Dispenser

Hello my Crafty Friends...
Today is my first post as a Sassy Designer at She's A Sassy Lady.....I am soo excited to be part of this Amazing group!!!!
I am soo nervous, I had no Idea what I was going to make......
so after a little blog hopping I found this Candy Dispenser made by The Hybrid Chick, it is soo cute, I knew I just HAD to make one....So I pulled my Gypsy out, (Ok it was right beside me, LOL) and a few shapes, and a little welding later......
                              
I just Love how it came out......There are so many possibilities........so many ways to decorate....
                               
here is a look at what it looked like on my Gypsy, (sorry its not that easy to see)

here are a few photos of how it all came together.....

this is the box cut in Stampin Up Textured Cardstock

In this Photo I drew on lines to show you where to score, I laid the pink wrapper on top and drew on the lines so you know where to score it.

all scored and ready to be put together

I used red tape to hold the box together (this stuff is super strong)

put the top together first

I thought of a few other items that you could store in the Candy Dispenser....maybe some paper clips......

Winner and some directions.....

Hello crafty friends.....
I hope you are all having a Fabulous day......
I got some great news today that I will be able to share soon, I am sooo excited....
and I would just like to Thank The Talented Jillian for inviting me to be part of her first ever Blog Hop.....I hope you all had a blast hopping, it was a great hop.
I had sooo many wonderful comments, and I would like to thank you all, and say Hi to all my new followers.....HI!!!
alot of you asked for more detailed instructions, so I have posted my Gypsy File for those of you that have a Gypsy, it is to the left of my Blog under my Free Gypsy Downloads...called Flower Pot Pocket Card...enjoy, and I would love to see your card if you make one, please let me know if you make one!!!
for those of you that don't have a Gypsy, I will try to explain how I made, I did do some welding and Hide the contour.....but I am sure you can get around that...
-so I first cut out the flower pots, remember to flip one pot so it will line up,  (my pots where 4.70)
  this is a big card, I do not plan on mailing it, so you can make whatever size card you would like,,,
-the next step is where I welded, I choose my three flowers, the dirt pile and a rectangle and welded them together, (you definatly want a sturdy paper for this layer, ) ( flowers-4.50, dirt 4.00, rect.-3.50 x 4.00) using my Gypsy, I cut this layer in green.
-I am sure you could just cut out the dirt pile , the rectangle and flowers and attach them to each other.
-next I cut out the flower head layer in 2 different colours, and the centres for the flower faces.( 4.50)
-now  I cut the dirt pile in brown, and the sign in 2 colours of brown, ( cut at 3.00)
- and the lady bug was cut at 1.75, and the caterpillar was cut at 2.38.
-to put the pot together, I laid one pot down, and laid the green layer (flowers attached to the dirt and rect.) and decided where I wanted it to be, and drew the shape on the inside of the pot, then using red sticky tape, went on the outside of the line I drew, you want to leave enough room so the rectangle will move in and out of the pot easily...
then decorate, I inked all my edges,

I can't wait for Sping to get here, I live in Southern Ontario Canada, and it has been a long Winter, I haven't seen grass since before Christmas......so I choose to do a card, I call it a pocket card (not sure if that is the right term for it, but that's what I call it) that had lots of cheery colours in it.
 all cuts are from WIMG (I love this cart)

The flowers are stamped with PKS Everyday Faces,

 and the sign is my own writing

I also inked all the edges, and used pop dots on the flowers

                         

here is the inside of the card, 

and here is the card in the pocket, the pot...

the cute little bugs are also from WIMG, I used Stickles and some googlie eyes,

all paper is SU except the green for the leaves, it is DCWV.

the ribbon is also SU

and I used my White Signo Pen for stitching
